I have been a nature-lover all my life; often feeling out of synch with modern focuses on technology, media, and indoor luxury.

30 years in the sailing industry, running a full-service marina, and captaining my sailboat on dozens of cruises across the Gulfstream to the Bahamas, has allowed me the freedom to work and play in the natural world. My passion in my career was introducing people to sailing...to feel quiet movement thru the water, the touch of wind on your face, the fragrance of salt air and the beauty of sunsets at sea. Since selling the business, eco-travel, hiking and camping have added mountains, streams, and swamps to my outdoor passion. I spend 2-3 months every year hiking and camping in the beautiful parks of this great country of ours!

I have always found comfort and healing in Mother Nature…the Source of Life. I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in EcoPsychology and the Florida Master Naturalist Certification.  Serving on the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Cancer Research and Wellness, adds a health dimension to the time spent in nature.  In my work with The Nature Connection, I facilitate and encourage others to find peace, joy, love, balance and healing in Nature.

I have now spent 59 years on this planet. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife, Kelly, two grown children, a successful career and a close network of friends all across the country.

For the past 33 years I have sought to bring people together to collaboratively create win-win solutions. For most of this time my focus was primarily on people. Working for a Fortune 200 company, I led teams of people finding ways to better serve our customers through projects and process improvements. Over the past 8 years, I have been searching for the deeper meaning of life and how I could make a difference. As I release my need for a particular outcome, my eyes are slowly opening.

Thanks to the work of Michael Cohen, Thomas Berry, Miriam MacGillis and my special friends Gus Jaccaci, Joe Hulusky, Judith Elia. I am becoming more aware of the other 99.9% of life that exists on this planet, my connection to it and my source. As I learn to honor all life, I am endeavoring to open people’s hearts to the wonders that Nature provides. Once we step out of our doors and let nature teach and guide us a new reality emerges.
